ANDREA ROCCA (Milano1965) Artist from Milan.

​

After the degree in graphic design at the IED (European Institute of Design) of Milan, he directs his studies towards an advertising carrier, working as a freelancer as a designer and illustrator.

​

His professional path contributed to the construction and evolution of a new artistic identity. Towards the end of the '90, the previous experience consolidated into a mature style, confirming the choice of the painting as a privileged way to express. 
His predilection for wood and canvas characterizes his portraits, storic brands and life style of a pop art design extremely personal. 


A. Rocca’s choice of the subjects are originated on memories of his youth, experiences and passions, which bonds the artist to the show business, fashion, movies, advertising and music.

The  incisiveness of his traits and the audacity of his chromatic choice makes the strength of warm colors the autentic protagonist of the painting.
